Diamond<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Diamond&#8221; is the frame shape we most associate with that of a classic &#8220;men&#8217;s bike&#8221;. It has a high, horizontally running top tube (picture 1). The design of this variant ensures maximum stability and is therefore also equipped for uneven trails and strong vibrations. Most mountain e-bikes use this shape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The diamond frame is for you if you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>prefer an athletic look.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>need high stability for off-road tours<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>are looking for a classic men&#8217;s bike<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Trapeze<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the three most common, the trapezoidal bike frame seems to be a bit more unknown. As a middle ground between diamond and wave, the top tube runs more parallel to the down tube, allowing more comfort when mounting and dismounting (picture 2). The style here is rather sporty and the shape gives a dynamic look with good frame stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The trapezoid frame shape is for you if you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>prefer an athletic look<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>want more comfort when getting on and off the bike<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>still need stability for uneven trails<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Wave<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The classic &#8220;ladies&#8217; bike&#8221; among the models. The e-bike frame shape Wave has a low top tube and makes getting on and off at traffic lights extra comfortable (picture 3). Generally you will find this type in the City E-Bike and Trekking E-Bike types.
