Of course! Exercise is good for the body and mind and as we all know, we tend to stay inside in the warmth during the colder months. But that&#8217;s exactly when exercise is especially important, because it helps strengthen your immune system, among other reasons. Your lungs, for example, get a great workout and are much better equipped to deal with colds and coughs. Exercise also has demonstrably positive effects on mental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By the way: Even if you live in the city, you don&#8217;t have to give up your exercise: We have selected 3 routes in Zurich that you can easily discover with your city e-bike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Zurich &#8211; Zumikon<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With 26 km and a duration of approx. 60 min (just under 2 hours on a normal bike), this e-bike route is the round for the end of the day. Let the wind blow around your ears and clear your head of all the thoughts that have accompanied you all day. The difference in altitude on this loop is an impressive 418 m, which requires a certain amount of basic stamina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2 Wallisellen &#8211; Greifensee<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This route leads directly around the lake, on mostly flat ground, which you can easily master with your city e-bike or trekking e-bike. The route is 33 km long and offers you an idyllic view with mostly flat terrain and little incline of about 90 m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Zurich &#8211; Hirzel&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This route is 52 km long and takes about 2.5-3 h on an e-bike. With over 550 m of altitude gain, it is a route that demands good basic stamina, but impresses with its unique views of Lake Zurich, Lake Zug and Lake T\u00fcrler.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It leads you out of Zurich, through the Sihl valley and along the Wildegg nature reserve. A perfect bike route for a day off that lets you forget the city stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find even more routes for you and your city e-bike, which you can do right from your front door, in our other city guides.
